Maura's Car

Maura Murray's car is still parked outside behind Troop F's barracks near the white mountains. It's locked, but I could clearly see red stains on the ceiling inside.

You should probably get all your facts straight before You post. The pix of Maura's car that You have posted here are not the same ones from the night of the accident. If You go and look at the original pix You will notice that the hood is dented on the drivers side and pushed up to the left. the headlight is in tact and close to its original placement. The lower plastic fender on the drivers side is barely damaged.

The pix You have taken are of a vehicle that has been sitting there for 6 yrs. and has been moved 3 times. It has no relevance at this time other than to show that when the vehicle was moved at NHSP by NHSP 2 times and in doing so it was damaged further. I am not sure what they were thinking when moving it but they have ruined any evidence even though pix were taken to document the damage. Why is the Saturn so much more damaged now?

  2. I get your point. But I think some people will misinterpret what you are saying. That is Maura's car. I can't speak to how many times it has been moved or why. I will look at the old pics again and see if I can notice what you're talking about.

Why isn't the car in the locked compound if it is being held as evidence. That is a good question, did You happen to find out why when You went to take the pix. I have always wondered this.

  4. The people who will jump down Mr. Renner's throat every time he posts something are starting to get comical.

Sorry, Mr. Renner, you aren't in the club, I guess, so you are not "allowed" to talk about this case. NO WONDER Maura hasn't been found yet!

  5. Not every police department has the resources for some sort of "locked compound" for evidence, especially large things like vehicles.

  6. As Detective Columbo rightly points out, why on earth isn´t the Saturn stored in the locked compound at Troop F HQ in Twin Mountains?
And yes, the front of the Saturn is definitely far more damaged than on all other pictures I´ve seen on the web previously (and there are quite a few of them).
Those other photos of the Saturn were also taken while the car was sitting at Troop F HQ, so why is the front of the car now looking quite smashed up compared to the relatively minor damage shown on earlier pics?
It almost looks like it might have been made on purpose by people unknown, or am I being too fanciful now....???

  7. Ask FM WHY he told Lavoie's towing to have the car "crushed" for the cost of towing. What about all the forensics that may have been lost if crushed! I do not believe it was because he was not thinking clearly as stated on the Maura missing forum. Ya right!

  8. Mr. Renner, Thank you for the investigation of this case. This has gone on for to long with the lies and misinformation!

  9. It looks like the driver's side fender may have come loose, because where it was attached was damaged by the crash. The fender and driver's side headlight may have fallen loose on one of the tows. Corrosion of the damaged areas may have had some play here as well.

  10. I have a question. You posted this pic in late January and claim to have taken during a visit to New Hampshire at this same time of year. There is nowhere in New Hampshire where grass is that green in January. It appears as though you are nog being fully candid.

  11. Hi,

Have been following this website with interest and am trying to learn everything I can about this mystery.

As someone from Australia, I cannot comment on much, however, could you confirm whether the book "Not without peril" was actually located in Maurer's car and in terms of location where the Presidential Range is situated from the accident site?

I understand that she was familiar with the outdoors and such a book is not unusual for her to read, but am just curious as to whether she may have been heading there for whatever reason. Does anyone know whether accommodation near this location was ever canvassed?

    Thanks.

    KW

  12. Ask any car or crash experts, or even mechanics, this car did not even hit a branch on the front corner of its passenger side let alone a frozen snowbank.

  13. I was watching the show missing, about maura murray, what I do not understand is the narriator on the show said that the air bags were deployed,The bus driver stated he seen her veer off the road, and asked if she needed help' the bus driver stated there didnt seem to be anything wrong with her head or face, the reason that is so bazaar to me is that I was in my car when my air bags were deployed and the bags totally busted my lips, top & bottom, my nose, and blackened both my eyes, there is no way that she couldnt have had no blood or bruises on or about her head & face. I also understand that how close you sit to that mechanism when it emplodes also determines the injuries that are occured, still I believe there had to be injuries.

  14. Damage inconsistent with what is often explained to have happened. Damage could match something else though.
