Is it a clue?

I've been trying to verify this tip with limited success so I'm putting it out there to see if anyone knows more. This one comes from a source close to the crime scene.

Word is police were once interested in a pair of brothers who made snow out at Loon Mountain in Feb. 2004. They drove to work every evening along Rt. 112 and would have passed the scene of Maura's disappearance. My source was told by police that the night Maura disappeared, the brothers did not show up for work.

If you know who these brothers were, please email the info to me so I can attempt to rule in/rule out this pair.

    1. Hello "Detective Columbo,"

I would like to point out that the term you quote - "crime scene" - does not appear in James' post. In fact the word "crime" is nowhere in the post and the only occurrence of the word "scene" is in the plain english use of the word to refer to where her car was and where she was last seen by anyone talking about it. (Wasn't Columbo really good at picking up on details?) (Just kidding man)

      Regards,

      John G.

  4. Do you think these are the same brothers that were related to the knife that was given to Fred? and to the A frame? In reading another article the a frame was rented by the brother who owned the knife.
