He lived in a dump of a house in Weymouth when Maura was in high school and was very active in Maura's career as a runner, and pushed her to apply to West Point. The weekend before Maura disappeared, he visited her at UMass.

  1. Wow, very interesting. I cannot wait to read the book. I have a passion for the missing. This case has so many twists, turns, and dead ends it is crazy.

  3. Will you be adding to this? There seems like there are many more that should be included.

  4. I have to say, reading the title of this 'cast of characters' made me chuckle, as quite a few of these are characters, lol...

  5. You know, the family picture that you click on to get to the cast of character descriptions makes me sad. There is such innocence there and people who seem happy in that moment to be together. Yet such problems hung over that poor family - I can relate - and such terrible events awaited. It is important to remember, I think, the compassion for even Fred, even if he is obstructing the investigation in some way. For suffering is suffering and people are often so limited by forces beyond their control or conception in developing ways of living. Anyway, it just makes me sad to look at the picture.

  6. This title "cast of characters" should be titled something else.
    I'd like to see a Widget "cast of characters" with the people that had the means and oppurtunity to abduct or to assist with maura's disappearance mixed In with everyone at the scene and surrounding area.That would be more helpful to finding maura and help us stay focused Rule them out one by one.

  7. Might want to add another name-- Alden Olsen. Apparently he's the guy who made the YouTube videos, and I've also found him on Facebook. Maybe I'm a little late to this, though.

    1. Chris;
      Question #1 How is Alden Olsen related to this case other than the YouTube videos? Did he personally knew Maura? Don't remember hearing his name
      Q. #2. I live here- do you know if 112 Eastbound was searched when the search took place that you participated in? I know that there wasn't any shoe print nearby but what about eastbound?
      Q#3. I can't remember who stated this but apparently there were some wine poured on the snow. Did you see that? How soon was the local search took place that you participated in?
      Thank you

    2. I for one see nothing that connects Alden with this case whatsoever, I doubt Mauras family has never met him. He's probably just a weirdo in his basement who lacked attention from daddy. He obviously did not get enough love from his father, so whoever sees this guy give him a big hug and a kiss.

  9. Is it possible that Maura Maura ran off with her coach Hossein Baghdadi ? Seems like a logical choice, maybe he was at the "party" before she disapeared without trace. You would think he would be a suspect, especially if he admits to the affair, I wonder if Billy knew? So why did she print out an email of when Billy cheated, when she did the same thing? Loyalty seems to be non existent nowadays, sad but true. I think if Billy knew she was cheating on him it could give him a motive to disapear her as well.

  11. Your book is a great read. As is your book on Amy.

  12. I just finished "True Crime Addict" and was spellbound throughout. I was at the Bay Village Library when you read aloud from your book on Amy many, many years ago. I lived in Bay at the time, and I believe many of her classmates were in the audience. The room was packed. Admire your tenacity and keep up the good work!
